Various
designs of ceramic parts are intended for a definite consumer
in the manufacture of goods of electrotechnical and lighting
engineering, as well as semiconductor products. As compared
to analogous products, they possess a higher degree of
accuracy in holding dimensions. Ceramic products are manu-factured
according to the consumer's drawing (low limit - 300 µm,
upper limit - 60 mm). Various
modifications of gaskets, bushings, rods designed for
thermoregulators are produced for household heaters (irons,
waffle irons). Insulating
ceramic bushings and sets of parts for case insulation
of open heater elements (spiral fila-ments, etc.) are
manufactured for devices like fireplaces and electric
heaters. Cylindrical cases for thermoswitches are also
made. The basic
material for manufacturing the above products is steatite
and glassceramics, which ensure their high electric properties
and the required mechanical strength. The highestquality
ceramics and the highest-accuracy technological processes
are used in manufacturing cases of semiconductor devices
of the millimeter wavelength band.
